To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to commend to you Denise from Help 4 Families. I first met Denise when she spoke to our Bradford Area Ministerial Association over two years ago. She had a story to tell, a testimony as it were, about her father’s decent into “cross dressing” which eventually led him into a homosexual lifestyle. Of course, this led to the disintegration and alienation of his family. Later in life, when his health had failed him, he desired to have his family return to him. Denise’s story (testimony) is about her battle with offering forgiveness to her father who had injured her so badly. As a Christian, she speaks of the struggle she went through. She eventually came out on top.

In September of 2005, I asked Denise to share her story with ten churches on the Bradford District of my denomination. She did so. At that time, I was the District Leader, somewhat similar to the District Superintendent in the Methodist movement. Many people were touched by her willingness to tell her story. In her time of sharing, we had found  out that there were other people who had similar family situations. Her testimony became very therapeutic for those in attendance.

Yours for Christ Jesus,

To Whom It May Concern:

I am happy to recommend Denise from the Help 4 Families ministry. Her area of expertise is in dealing with those who have gender issues, particularly transsexual issues. She also helps the families of those who struggle with gender identification issues.

Denise has a strong Christian testimony and is soundly Bible based in her approach to ministry. She has been held in high regard for a long time by the pastors who have known her, and her work. Her “people skills” are exceptional, as is in evidence in the way that she treats people who are struggling with gender issues.

Denise approaches people with care and dignity. She displays excellent Christian character and integrity, while working in a sensitive area. Confidentiality is faithfully maintained while she works in areas that sometimes are distasteful to many.

I referred someone to her not long ago, and Denise had answers for her need which were full of wisdom. I have been blessed to sit in on her seminar teaching and have reaped the benefit of her substantial knowledge.

I might add that Denise has been tremendously faithful in her church life over many years. Her life is one of consistency. In the church and in the community, Denise is extremely well thought of and appreciated for her skills.
